Rafael Hernandez is a Cuban artist born in December1986 in the city of Placetas, VC. Throughout his stay in Cuba he was a successful businessman in the furniture industry and recognized as great artist in Cuba. He began his trip to the United State in January 2022, escaping from the Cuban dictatorship along with his family and several of his art works. This journey marked his life significantly as he had to face very difficult scenarios to protect his family and his art. Except, his life upon arriving in the United States has been full of great challenges because he has to reinvent himself as a person to support his family and his art. He currently works as a relevant artist in the city of Orlando FL. He has held several arts exhibitions in the most important galleries in the city such as City Arts, Orlando Science Center and Mills Gallery the latter representing him as one of the most relevant artists, in addition to creating his own company LEAFAR LLC that is related to the furniture industry.
